Rain am Lech, March 31, 2025 – IFA Technology GmbH of Rain am Lech has ordered the 77,777th defibrillator from MedX5 GmbH & Co., together with the manufacturer Primedic. The device was ceremoniously handed over free of charge to managing directors Karl-Heinz Gruber and Stefan Neumann.
Stefan Neumann announced that the defibrillator will be installed in a publicly accessible location on the company building, making it available to the citizens of the city of Rain around the clock. The value of the device will also be donated to a non-profit organization. The location will be registered in the "Citizens Save Lives" (CISALI) app, which displays the nearest defibrillator, connects it to the emergency call center, and activates first responders.
"This initiative is an exemplary example of safety in the region," praised Volker Brand, Managing Director of MedX5. Primedic's defibrillators are state-of-the-art: easy to operate, safe, and ideal for use by laypersons. In the event of sudden cardiac death, there are only 3-5 minutes to restore the heart to a normal rhythm. If an electric shock isn't necessary, the devices provide clear instructions for chest compressions.
MedX5 and Primedic thank IFA Technology GmbH for this groundbreaking decision and their commitment to community safety. Together, we are committed to saving lives.
