This triad adorns our company logo and is the core task and mission statement of our company. We see, hear and recognize, we learn and understand, we act and react - all of this in order to further develop and continuously adapt our corporate philosophy. Our corporate culture promotes personal responsibility, enthusiasm, performance and creativity in each individual. We work in teams across departments to achieve common results. The maxim of our work is aimed at saving lives. All of our employees' individual interests and individual skills are adapted to this goal.

Our history and our goal

Since our founding in 2000, MedX5 has been committed to a clear goal: to minimize the risks of sudden cardiac death and save lives. Over the past two decades, we have continuously addressed the challenges posed by this life-threatening condition.

Although the basic facts and procedures have changed little over time, our main concern remains the same: to educate and raise awareness among the general public. We believe that you and everyone should be able to provide first aid in an emergency and, if available, use a defibrillator.

The reality of sudden cardiac death

IT CAN HAPPEN TO ANYONE!

• Over 84% of victims die at home, at work or during leisure time
• In Europe: over 800,000 deaths annually
• In Germany: over 140,000 victims per year

These alarming figures underscore the urgency of our mission. Despite the increasing availability of defibrillators, the public often remains uninformed about their use. Many do not know that these life-saving devices can and should be used by anyone.

Another problem is the inadequate distribution of AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators). The current number and distribution are far from sufficient to ensure the critical response time of less than 5 minutes across the board.

Our solution: technology and education

In the event of cardiac arrest, every second counts. If a person is unconscious, unresponsive and not breathing, you must act immediately:

1. Immediately start cardiac massage
2. Immediate use of a defibrillator

Only through this rapid reaction does the victim have a realistic chance of survival. Our defibrillators, often referred to as "shock boxes", are designed to resolve these critical situations:

• Very easy to use
• Self-explanatory functions
• Absolute safety for you as a user and the patient

We also offer advanced resuscitation defibrillators. These devices go a step further and also provide acoustic guidance during cardiac massage to ensure optimal resuscitation.

The biggest mistake you can make is doing nothing! Even if it's been years since you last took a first aid course, please don't ignore the emergency and risk a possible fatality. It could just as easily be your own family members, friends or colleagues who are affected.

At MedX5, we firmly believe that you have the ability to save lives. Our mission is to give you the tools, knowledge and, above all, confidence you need to act decisively in an emergency.

That is why we appeal to you:

• Speak to a person who has had an accident
• Alert the emergency services immediately
• Actively encourage people present to help
• Stay calm and trust in your abilities

Together we can significantly improve the survival rate for sudden cardiac death. You play a crucial role in this. With the right knowledge, the right technology and the courage to act, you can save lives.
